Well what ended up being our final day at Disneyland we didn't do a whole lot. Ryan still wasn't feeling well so he and I hung out in the hotel again. Steve took the kids back to the park and I think they rode one ride. They then waited in lines for Sara to see Merida and Rapunzel.
Jakob came back to the hotel because he didn't want to see any princesses. Eventually Steve and Sara made their way back also. Later Jakob, Sara and I went to find us a good spot for the Christmas Parade. It was very cute, Sara was disappointed because none of the new princesses were in it, but other than that it was great.
We bought our souvenirs. Ryan got this McQueen hat with Mickey ears. Sara got one of the bears from Brave and a Rapunzel doll. Jakob got Star Wars pins, t-shirt, and Storm trooper bank. I picked out a Christmas ornament and a frame.
We had a snack of Mickey shaped Beignets oh my word they were so delicious. They are like a doughnut, but better. And the atmosphere. They had jazz band playing where we were. So much fun.
We watched the fireworks. They castle was so pretty all decorated with Christmas lights
Our original plans were to get annual passes while we were there and go into the park on Friday. But since Ryan was not really getting better we changed out minds about that. We had another day paid for at the hotel so we hung out there for most of the morning. Finally got Ryan to eat something and then went to see Disney's new movie, Wreck it Ralph. It was a cute show. That night we left the kids in the hotel and Steve and I went to Cheese Cake factory for dinner. Oh my it was so good. Can you tell by this point we were tired of dealing with a sick child so the picture taking slowed way down.
Saturday morning after another night of throwing up, we got up, packed our things and headed home. We were supposed to stay in St. George that night but I just wanted to be home. So finally at 11:00 that night we walked through our door. I was sooooo happy to be home. I'm glad we were able to go and we have some great memories. And what is life without a few bumps in the road.
