Weekend Fun

We have had a fun filled weekend this week. Friday we went to good ol' Golden Coral for dinner to celebrate Steve's Grandma's and Mom's Birthday's. Golden Coral is not my favorite place. When I go out to eat I like someone to wait on me. I don't want to have to keep getting up to get my food and my kids food. Plus all the lovely people that you meet there are not my favorite either. Oh well, it was still fun to be with the family, and I didn't have to cook dinner. On Saturday night we went over to our friends Jeni and Jason's for a barbecue/bonn fire. It was so much fun. All the kids played really well together and had a blast. We were able to sit by the fire and enjoy ourselves. Thanks Jeni and Jason for letting us enjoy your beautiful back yard!

Flashback Friday "Ode to Mike"

Steve got a call from one of his best friends the other day who had moved back to Oregon a while back. He suggested that we dedicate the "Flashback Friday" to him. So with a little help from Steve and some fun old pics, here they are:

Heading up skiing/snowboarding in the killer, (but not as cool as the Blue LTD), Granada. Good Times.

After the "Big Game Hunt" (that's Brandy Child behind the Bear Head)

Bringing in some wood for the fireplace. (over at Paige's house)

One of the last pictures on Brandy's cool 110 camera. They usually stole it and killed the roll of film that was inside.

Those of you that know Mike should get a kick out of these photos.

Soccer

I may not have a camera but I still have a scanner. So I can still post! =) This year Sara decided that she wanted to try sports instead of dancing. So we signed her up for soccer to start. She loves to play, although when she is out on the field she is in another world. She is always the last one to run up the field. She only kicks the ball when it lands in front of her. When watching her she is usually carrying on a conversation with herself or trying to talk to the other players. It's quite funny. She's having a blast doing nothing. Jakob has had fun also. He's played soccer since kindergarten and loves it.

Problems

We are getting ready to move our stuff from the basement out to the garage while we are having the basement sheet rocked. So yesterday I spent a few hours cleaning out the garage. I was so proud of myself for building some prefabed shelves and got the garage all organized and looking really nice. I got out my camera to take some pictures to show everyone how great it looked. Well I went to take the picture and everything looked ok until the picture showed up on the screen. It was all fuzzy!!!! I was so mad. I dropped it a few months ago and now it's had enough, I guess. So I will not be able to post any pictures (unless it is a flashback) for a while until we replace our lovely broken camera. So hang in there and I will hopefully be able to blog again soon.

Flashback Friday

Yes I know it has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog and I'm sure you have all been soooo disappointed to have not been able to see what is going on in the Niederhauser house hold. There hasn't been much going on, thank goodness! I can finally get back to doing flash back Fridays. I thought that since it is the Homecoming season it would be fun to post a few of our Homecoming pictures. It is so fun to see what we wore and how we did our hair. Try not to laugh to much.
Here is Steve and a bunch of his friends at Homecoming.
This is Steve and Wendy Wood at Homecoming, not sure what year it probably '87 or '88.
