Flashback Friday

Yes it is technically still Friday, just a little late in the day. I tried to find some pictures of me and Steve when we are close to the same age. The best I could find was this one of Steve, we figured that he is a about 2. And I think the picture of me is my 3rd birthday.

Ryan and the water bottle

I had our water bottle out the other day to do the kids hair for school. Ryan saw it and wated to play with it. I didn't think he could do anything with it so I gave it to him to play with. Boy did he have a great time with it. He was making us laugh so hard.

Memorial Day

Every year we go up to Logan to the cemetery in River Heights to where Steve's grandparents and great grandparents are buried. We usually stand behind the head stones to take pictures. But as you can see it was not possible this year. Oh well, it makes for great memories.

This was us last Memorial Day.

We went to a bowery to eat lunch and there was a really neat castle playground. Even though it was raining Sara couldn't pass it up.

Here we are all trying to have a picnic, in the rain. Nice.

Flashback Friday

I have loved looking at everyone's Flashback Fridays and thought they were so much fun. I have wanted to do it for a long time, but haven't known where to start. So after much thinking I have decided to go back to the beginning of it all. Well the beginning for me and Steve. In these pictures I think we are both around 18 months. Ahhh so cute!

Sleeping Beauty?

We saw this on our friend Jeni's blog and thought it was kind of fun. Steve took it and he was Pocahantas. As you can see I turned out to be Sleeping Beauty, although growing up I wanted to be the Little Mermaid.

Thoughtful and loving. Authority figures probably have been sheltering you all of your life. Thankfully you're a very tranquil person who is content with what life has given you, but secretly you want to know how the outside world works.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all of you had a wonderful mother's day. I sure did. I love mother's day, it is the one day I don't have to change poopy diapers! Although Steve got so tired of changing all of Ryan's that I had to do one at 10:00 last night. Oh well. It was a fun day. I woke up to this yummy breakfast of waffles, strawberries and cool whip. My favorite!
Then I was showered with these great presents from my cute kids. They were so excited to give me their presents that they had made.

I love being a mom, and I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father has entrusted me with these wonderful children.

Steve's Friend Getaway

Steve just went this week up to the City of Rocks in Idaho with a bunch of his high school buddies. They had a blast rock climbing and hiking. He has the best group of friends a person can have. I think it is pretty amazing that they have all stayed such good friends for so many years. I have to say that they have all married great women and I'm glad to be included in that group of friends.
