Halloween Party and Halloween

It's hard to believe that it is already this time of year. And that Halloween has come and gone. We had our annual Halloween party at Carrie and Scott's this year. It's always fun to see who is going to be at the party.
Julie and Dave with Holly and Cody's family and Alex. They also brought Ashley's son James. We miss you guys Ash. Hope Jud's heal is healing. =)
Holly and Cody's cute little family.
Jeff and Fran.
Heidi was the only one of their kids that could make it this year.

Carrie and Scott.

The Niederhauser's. We are all Rock bands. Try and guess which ones. Just kidding I'll tell you. I am the Black Eyed Peas, Steve is the Barenaked Ladies, Jakob is Styx, Ryan is the Cars and Sara is Guns and Roses.

Debbie and Mike's Family

Steve's parents and Spencer.

All the Niederhauser's

We had a little pinata fun.

The kids waiting to eat donuts on a string. Thanks for the fun night.

Then came Halloween. Jakob and Sara were stick figures.
Ryan was sick all day. Poor little guy this was the second time he had some stomach bug in 2 weeks. I didn't think he was going to be able to go. But after not having to run to the bathroom in a few hours I thought we would give it a try. I had sent Jakob and Sara off with friends so Ryan and I went out just to a few neighbor's so he could have some Halloween fun.
We have a neighbor that give out cell phones every year. This is the kids favorite house to hit. This year they went there twice. The second time there they each got 5 phones. Score for them!!!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

Birthday's

Steve and I are lucky to have our birthday's within a week of each other. It makes the fun month of October even better. My birthday started out with some homemade (by Steve) pumpkin muffins.

Lunch at Rumbi Island Grill. Then a little shopping with my hubby. Dinner at Olive Garden.
And brownies for dessert. What a great way to start my last year in my 30's.
Then a week and a day later it was Steve's turn. I had invited a few of his high school friends over to celebrate the big day. Before they came over we had gone to lunch at Chick-Fil-A and dinner to Pei Wei. Steve was home for the day and I kept asking him what he wanted to do. He really just wanted to be home and not do much. I don't think he was very happy to be turning 40. After dinner I asked him again if there was anything he wanted to do. He said no. So we headed home, which was a good thing because everyone was coming over at 7:00. He had no idea they were coming. We were home for a little while before the friends started showing up. Later after they all left he said he had no idea I had planned this for him and that it was the best birthday.
Steve, Roger, and Nolan have their birthday's within 3 days of each other.

Thanks for coming everyone and making it a great night for Steve!!!
