Days 3 and 4

Here are the next two days of our trip to Disneyland. We got some really cute pictures of the kids with a lot of characters. It seemed like this time every time we turned around there was another Disney character. It really was fun seeing them.

In front of California Adventure they had the California done up like each letter was a candy cane. We had to get Ryan in front of the R. Then the rest of us by goofy.

Monster's Inc. ride

Mr. Incredible. Ryan was so cute with the characters when he saw them he would say hi give them 5 but when it came time to take the picture he did not want to stand by them. So as you will see every picture Ryan is in I had to be in it also. I wasn't too happy about that.

Max

Woody

Jessie

If you look just over Jakob's shoulder you can see Sara in the back ground.

Toy Story Mania ride. This one was one of our favorites.

Jakob riding screamin' alone. He rode this ride 5 times over the coarse of the 6 days we were there. Two he did by himself. I was with Sara and Ryan on the Farris wheel and after one time Steve couldn't do it again. It made him to dizzy. They had 2 fast passes that were going to expire so Jakob went by him self, and loved every minute of it. Steve wasn't very happy about it because he loved screamin' and didn't like feeling like an old man and getting sick from a ride.

This is by Keni and Koda at the play ground in California Adventure.

Every day we let the kids choose a treat for the day. Monday was Dole whip day, Tuesday was churro day, Wednesday was cotton candy day, Thursday was ice cream day, Friday was pretzel day, and Saturday was choose your favorite treat.

Bugs life. Steve couldn't ride this one, he was still to dizzy from Screamin'.

Day 4. We had to get a shot in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I just wish we didn't have on our jackets or my sunglasses. Oh, well.

Thursday was our early entry day to the park. We had heard that the rides in Fantasyland got big lines fast so we hit those at that time. This of course was Dumbo. A favorite of Ryan's.

Steve couldn't do the spinning on the tea cups. Too bad they were a lot of fun.

We went into Mickey's Toon town to see Mickey and Minnie.

Cute picture except for Ryan scratching his nose.

Cute picture except for Ryan not looking.

Later in the day we went back to California Adventure to see the High School Musical show. They did a cute job and it was fun to see.
Jakob got picked to be part of the show. I thought Sara would be sad that she wasn't picked but she was wasn't. She was happy that Jakob got picked. They gave him a button that said Star Dazzel Award.

We're Back

I can't believe that we have already been and now we are back from Disneyland. It is crazy how you look forward to something for so long and then it's here and gone so quick. We had so much fun on our trip and I'm so sad that it is over. I'm going to break this up into 2 parts because there are so many fun pictures that it is really over whelming to go through them and just pick a few.

This is day one and our first ride was Finding Nemo. The last time we were there they didn't have this ride, so it was a fun way to start our trip.

Jakob was most excited to do the Jedi Training Academy so this was #2 on the list for our first day. Jakob and Sara were both picked to train but we only got video of them so I just chose a couple of pictures to put on here. The Darth Maul was a very good one and Jakob had to fight him. It was so much fun to watch.

Crash. He didn't do this often enough while we were there but when he did it was a nice break. He was so good most of the time. But by day 5 he had a major melt down. I almost left the park with him that day but we ended up going on the rockets and Buzz Light Year then he was back to his happy self.

Jack and Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas. They had the Haunted Mansion all decorated like it was the Nightmare Before Christmas and it was so much fun to ride. Sara was really scared at first but by the end she loved the ride.

Ryan's favorite thing in all of Disneyland and California Adventure. We went back many a time to see McQueen and Mater.

My goofy kids.

Driving cars, another of Ryan's favorites!

Tarzan's tree house. They are scared because of the big cheetah behind them.

These are on the riverboat.

I thought this time we might get away with not having to get the pictures and autographs of the princess's but I was wrong. Very wrong. Waiting in line for these is not my favorite thing.

Waiting for the fireworks.

Main Street all decked out. Not a great shot but it was the best one we got. It was so much fun being there with all the Christmas decorations up.

The castle all lit up.

DISNEYLAND

We are heading off for a week of fun at the Happiest place on earth!!! We have been planning this trip for quite some time and it is hard to believe that it is actually here. Everyone is so excited, even Ryan has been counting down the days until we get to see Lightning McQueen. See you all in a week with some fun pictures.

Happy Halloween

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween this year. We sure did. This year was Ryan's first year Trick or Treating and he had a blast. He had to ring the door bell at every house and would yell out Trick or Treat and he did a good job of saying "tank" you at every door. A couple of houses had older women who answered the door and when the kids left those houses Ryan said, "Bye Grandma!" My cute little stinker thinks every older woman and man are his grandparents. It's pretty hilarious. We were not able to get away from the Star Wars theme again this year. Jakob was Anakin a few years ago and the costume still fit so he wanted to be it again. We thought it would be cute to have Ryan be Yoda. We borrowed the costume from Debbie (Steve's sister) and the Yoda ears didn't fit Ryan to well so we called him our Youngling. It was cute both ways. Sara wanted to be a witch. She has had her eye on her cousin Jessica's witch costume for years. So we borrowed that too and she turned out to be a pretty cute witch. One guy told her she looked like a princess not a witch. It was a fun year and they got lots of candy. The most important thing.

Steve told Ryan there was a spider him (Steve) so that Ryan would look at him for the picture, hence the nice look on his face.

My work had a Halloween party on the 24th. My friend Teri's boys were also Anakin and Yoda. Pretty funny, we didn't even plan it. I had to just put this cute picture of these cute Star Wars boys on here.
