Girls Weekend

I had a fun weekend away last week. For a late Mother's Day present to my mom I went to spend the weekend with her, my grandma, sisters and sister-in-law. We had so much fun gorging tummies and pampering our toes. I don't get to spend much time with my family but I sure do enjoy the few minutes I do get to spend with them.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to you all. I hope all you mother's had a great day. I love mother's day, it is the one day I don't have to do anything! Steve takes care of the feeding and the changing and I get to just enjoy my kids and my one day off of the year!

My fun presents. My favorite movie ever is The Princess Bride and Steve found it on Blue Ray. We watched it after church and I just have to say that movie makes me smile every time I watch it. I love that my kids enjoy it almost as much as I do. Of course what would mother's day be without flowers, chocolate and homemade cards.

We went to Steve's parents for dinner. It was a great evening with lots of good company and good food. I'm so grateful for Mother's day too be able to celebrate the wonderful women who brought us into this world and raised us.
