Cousins

The kids and I went to Idaho to spend some time with my family. We don't get up there very often but we all have fun when we go.

Ryan and Triston playing on the DS. Ryan is 3 should he really know how to play on a DS?

Sophie, Grandpa and Ryan. Ryan didn't get much sleep the night before and crashed on Grandpa's comfy lap.

See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. I don't need to say any more about these 3.

Sara and Lydia had fun building furniture and forts with the cushions from the basement couch.

We found these two hiding out in the play room just like this. Too stinkin cute.

Children's Museum

On St. Patricks Day the Children's Museum at the Gateway had a free day so my friend and I took our kids and braved the crowds! The kids had a blast. I don't think I will go back though. The Tree house is just as good I think and easier to get to.

Lunch at the food court. This is how Ryan ate his lunch. Playing in between bites.

Potty Training

We are trying to potty train Ryan. It is not working very well. We bought these cars hoping it would help with the process. We told him if he would go potty on the big boy potty then he would get a car. He sat on the potty a few times and looked longingly at the cars but never did he go potty on the big boy potty. Instead he went in his pants and after that he asked for his cars. Since we didn't give them to him he hasn't tried again.

3 YEAR OLD PICTURES

I had my friend Natalie take Ryan's pictures again this year. When we got to her house for the photo shoot he was pretty nervous and I was worried we wouldn't get any good pictures. I was wrong. There were so many cute one's it was hard to choose my favorites. I did narrow it down and here they are.

Funny Boy

So the other day Ryan and I were going to the grocery store. As I came up to the train tracks the lights started flashing. I was close enough that I hurried and went through. Ryan says to me, "mom the lights were going you were suppose to stop." Ok he is 3 what does he know. I said to him it was ok that I went. Well then we came up to a stop light he then says, "mom the light is red you need to stop". I told him I was stopping. There was a car in front of me and when I finally stopped he said, "whew that was close". I don't think I have laughed so hard in a long time. I don't' know where he comes up with this stuff.
