Antelope Island

This past week was our spring break.  We weren't able to go out of town but we did go out to Antelope Island for an afternoon of hiking.  It was a perfect day for a hike and to be on the island.  There was a cool breeze, no bugs and lots of animals.  We were able to see buffalo, antelope, deer, and horses with people on them of course.

There was a bench along the way.  It was in the perfect spot for a much needed rest. 

We found a nice rock to eat our Jimmy John's dinner.

We hiked quite a ways when we came across the buffalo.  I thought it was the perfect time to turn around and head back.

I took Sara to meet her favorite author, Brandon Mull a few weeks ago.  She LOVES his Fablehaven series. When we found out he was going to be doing a book signing at Desert Book we had to go meet him. 

Easter

We had a great Easter week, making cookies, coloring Easter eggs, having a visit from the Easter bunny and having an Easter party with the family.

Girls Weekend

Have I ever said how grateful I am for my friends.  We have been friends for almost 20  years and have been through so much together.  We planned a girls overnighter to celebrate me joining the 40 club.  It was a little past my birthday but that's ok.  Any time with these ladies is worth waiting for.

We went to dinner at the Dodo in Salt Lake Friday night.  Fun atmosphere and really good food.

We then went to our hotel and played games and laughed all night long.  If you ever get a chance to play Telestrations I suggest you do.  It is the funnest game.

The next morning we drove in a blizzard back up to Syracuse to have pedicures and lunch at Pizza Factory.
