I can't believe it's been 15 years already. It seems like just yesterday we were living at the Mortuary playing You don't know Jack on Steve's brand new state of the art computer (that his thumb drive has more memory on now). I love you Steve and I'm grateful I get to be your wife for eternity!!!

15 Years!!!
We just got home from Park City. We went there to celebrate our 15th anniversary. My friend Brandy told us about a great deal online to stay at the Best Western in Park City and get an activity up there for $95. It wasn't the fanciest place we have stayed but it was nice and cheep. That is what we needed this year! The kids stayed at their Aunt Debbie's for the night and had a blast. Thanks again Debbie!!! We started the festivities with dinner at Z'Tejas at the Gateway. Yummy!!! Headed up to Park City in the RAIN (I'm a little tired of the wetness, will it ever stop!!!) did a little shopping at the outlet's. Not as great of deals as I usually get but I didn't walk away empty handed either. After shopping we went to the hotel and watched Four Christmas's. It was a pretty funny show. Today with our deal we had we chose to go over to the Olympic park to ride the zip line and alpine slide. The zip line we were suppose to ride on was not running because the lift was broken so Steve asked if we could do the Extreme zip line which was $15.00 more for each of us. The manager gave it to us for no extra cost. We were suppose to go on the short slow zip line and just one ride on the Alpine slide but the pass he gave us was the faster, longer zip line and 2 rides on the slide. Love it when we get lucky breaks like that. It's all because of Steve's great smile. He gets almost anything he asks for.

They had some skiers going off the jumps today if you look closely behind us you can see the skiers in the air.
Some ski run up there.
Riding up to the zip line and slide.
Getting ready to head down.
Coming to the end.

Summer Due
Jakob has been begging me for month's to shave his head bald. I really didn't want to do it but since summer was coming I thought if we were ever going to do it now would be the time. While we were cutting it we had a little fun.

Happy Birthday Sara!!!!
I cannot believe my little girl is 9 years old! Where does the time go. I think I say this every time one of my kids has a birthday but I can not believe how fast time flies. There are times when it feels like they will be dependent on me forever and then all of a sudden they are grown. I'm so grateful for my little girl. She is so sweet and tender hearted. Even though she is nine she will still hold my hand when we are in public, she loves to cuddle up next to me when we watch a movie. I tell her all the time that she has stay my sweet little Sara. She has promised me that she will, so I am going to hold her to it when she goes to Jr High and decides to become one of those FUN teenagers!
Her she is with her breakfast in bed. Chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and whip cream! Yummy!!
This afternoon we went to see Shrek the final chapter. What a cute, fun movie.
I don't know what Ryan is doing in this picture. In fact most of the time I can't figure that boy out!!!
After the movie we headed to The Pizza Factory for dinner.
Then home for some cake and ice cream. Sara put the happy birthday on the cake. Ryan helped with the balloons and squiggleies (sp).

Memorial Day
We started our Memorial Day on Sunday by visiting my Grandparent's graves. If we try and go to them all in one day we end up missing at least one of them, so we start a day early.

And of course no trip to Logan would be complete without visiting Charlie's for an ice cream cone!!!
Monday morning we headed up to Logan to visit Steve's grandparent's graves. It is a fun tradition we have to visit the graves and head to a park close by for a picnic, baseball and playing.

On the way home we made one more stop to Grandpa Bill's grave. It was such a fun day. I'm grateful that we have a day to celebrate the lives of those we love who have passed away. And to have a day to spend with those we love who are still with us.

End of Year
The kids have been busy with projects and recitals that come along with the end of the school year. Jakob decided he wanted to run for student counsel for next year. So along with that he had to write a 2 page report on Abraham Lincoln and make a poster showing important times in his life. We came up with the idea to make an American flag. I thought it turned out pretty good and the teachers must have liked it because he made student counsel. He was really happy that he was chosen but I think the thing he is most excited about is that he gets to ride on a float in the cities heritage days in July and spray people with water. Oh boy!!!

Then Sara had her year end dance recital. She has worked so hard and had a lot of fun dancing. She looked so cute in her costume and did a good job with her dances. I was so glad when the recitals were done. Oh my. The place where she takes does one night of dress rehearsal and 2 nights of the recital. They were all long nights, and Steve thought they were very painful to sit through. Oh the things we do for our kids!!!
