Valentine's Day

We had another fun filled Valentine's Day this year.  Sara and Ryan made cute Valentine holders for all their Valentines.

 

My Valentine got me my necklace that I have been wanting for a while. 

 

 



We switched up dinner this year.  We have in the past had Olive Garden for our Valentine's dinner but this year we felt like Chinese.  Good old Maple Garden didn't disappoint.

 

Yes Jakob is missing from this picture.  He had a church ball game so he joined the party a little late.

 

 

 

Lost tooth

 

My baby lost his first tooth a while back, I'm not even sure of the date now.  It had been loose for a little while.  He went to school and he said it fell out on his tongue.

Another Birthday

My first born turned 14 this year.  Is that crazy or what.  One I can't believe that he is that old.  Two I can't believe that I'm old enough to have a 14year old.  I love my boy to death and couldn't ask for a better son.

 

 

For his birthday Jakob wanted to try out I Fly, I think that's what it is called.  Instead of going with the family he wanted to go with his friends.  Oh it begins.  After I Fly the friends went home and we as a family went to dinner at Tony Burger's.  After dinner Jakob met back up with his friends and went to his first stake dance.  Oh boy, I remember being that age and being so excited to go to my first stake dance.  In Minnesota they were a much bigger deal then they are here.  He still had a good time, after people started showing up.

 

Jakob's birthday was on Sunday this year so the birthday celebrating continued into the next day.  He wanted banana pancakes for breakfast. 

And a Neapolitan cake.

After church that day Jakob was ordained a teacher so we had my parents, 2 of my brother's and Steve's parents come for the ordination and then for dinner after.
