2011!!!

We had a great time ringing in the New Year this year. We had our friends the Poll's over to celebrate with us. We had a great time playing games and eating good food all night long. There weren't very many of us but when the clock struck 12:00 you would have thought there were at least 50 of us there. The kids sure got excited!

Jakob and Sara went the whole year without candy and pop. This is Jakob picking out his first piece of candy! I want to go back to the no candy thing. Those two are constantly asking for candy now and it's driving me CRAZY!!!

Happy Birthday Ryan!

I can not believe that my baby is 4 years old. He had his birthday a few days after Christmas. It is a crazy time of year but we had lots of fun. We didn't do much for his birthday, just a family party. I think he enjoyed it though. My kids always get to choose where we eat or what we eat. Ryan wanted Ramen noodles for dinner that night, so that is what we had. He wanted a transformer birthday cake. Apparently that is what he wants to be when he grows up!

I am so grateful for this little boy. I can not imagine what my life would be like without him.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve and Grandma and Grandpa Niederhauser's. Doing the Nativity.

The kids were a Shepherd, Joseph, and a wise woman.

Cousin presents!

Ryan loves this book!

The adults did a $5.00 gift game and these were not the hot items of the night.

Skull candy head phones and this helicopter WERE the hot items of the night.

The boys loved their Lego's from Grandma and Grandpa.

Christmas Eve pajamas. I'm not in the picture because I didn't get any pj's this year. =(
Steve thought I was buying them and I thought he was buying them. Oh well.

Christmas was kind of scattered through out the house this year. Santa brought some controllers for the kids new wii but they didn't fit in the stockings.

Since the kids stocking are down stairs Santa left the rest of his stuff down there also.

Steve and Jakob got remote control cars.

I got a fridge for the basement. Love it!

Our neighbor's lovely dog bit Ryan on the leg. It didn't do any major damage, just left a big bruise on his leg. This was after the dog bite and Motrin.

Christmas after noon we headed up to Idaho to be with my family. My mom got all of her Granddaughter's an American Girl doll for Christmas. It was to be their inheritance from Great Grandma Nelson. The Monday after Christmas we had a tea party with all the girls and their dolls.
