The things we do for our kids.

I have been meaning to put these on here for a while and I've kept forgetting. If you can't tell they are Sara's cute dance picture and Jakob's baseball picture. It's always fun to watch them learn and improve on the things they love to do.

Flashback Friday

I was looking through our pictures trying to find something for my post. I came across these cute pictures of Steve. His mom says that when he was little he would fall asleep in different places throughout the house. These were his 2 favorite, the bathroom floor and the bean bag. He can still fall a sleep very easily. Just about any time and any place. And still just as cute!!!

Beware

Just wanted to warn you all that I have just updated for all of July. It had been a fun but crazy month. On top of our trips that we did we also squeezed in the last of baseball and 2 weeks of swimming lessons. I'm glad we don't have anything going on for a while. Well at least the kids and I don't. Steve is off again to the Philippines for the next week. So if anyone is bored give us a call.

Niederhauser Campout

This past week we went up to Washington Lake in the Unita's for our annual Niederhauser family trip. We had so much fun being with everyone. It is always nice and relaxing to get away from the hussle and bussle of life. The weather was so nice a cool up there.

Here we all are just playing and eating on the first day.
A lot of us went on a little hike to Wall Lake to let the kids cliff jump. We all cramed into 2 vehicle's to get to the trail head at Trial lake.

We always have a yummy dutch oven dinner together one of the nights. Here Mike (our brother in-law) Steve's dad and Steve's sister Julie are making the dinner. I had to put some pictures of Ryan on here. He was always wondering all over the place up there so we put him in his portable crib a lot of the time. He really didn't mind it too much.

Here we are on the last day. Steve's sister Debbie is in the paddle boat with her husband Mike and 2 of their kids, Colby and Sophi. Steve's niece, Ashley is in the canoe with her husband Jud and their son James. We took out the canoe for a little while. The kids really enjoyed it. If you can't tell by the look on Ryan's face.

Idaho Falls

On July 9th I took the kids and went to Idaho Falls for 5 days. We went up to spend time with our cousins in IF and to be with my Grandma Nelson who just turned 90. We had a big week of celebrations in her honor. We did a lot of dinners with everyone. They had an open house for her and invited all of her friends and relatives to come and celebrate with her. We took a day and went to the Idaho Falls zoo. That's a big time zoo let me tell you! =) I'm being very sarcastic. But the kids did enjoy it. The highlight of the trip was doing a tea party with my grandma. She has always loved having tea parties with her granddaughters and great granddaughters. My aunts found a lady that hosts tea party's at her home. She provides the hats and accessories gives you a little edicut lesson and then serves tea and a light lunch. It was really fun to spend the day with everyone. Especially my grandma. She is a wonderful person, very kind, and loving. She has a special way of making all of her grand kids feel like they are her favorite. I hope to be a grandma just like her someday.

4th of July

On the 4th of July we went up to Steve's sister's house to have a swimming party. We had a blast swimming and eating all day. We had so much fun in fact we forgot to take pictures. It is a good thing that Steve's sister Julie is such a good photographer and has a great blog that I can steal all these great pictures from. Hope you don't mind Julie!!! We had planned on going to the fireworks that night but we were all so tired from the fun day we had we just stayed home. Steve did go to Wal Mart and bought some fireworks there and we set them off outside with some of our neighbors.

Lagoon Day!

Saturday was my work's Lagoon Day. We had a blast with the kids. I think the best part of the whole day for Jakob and Sara was when we let them play in the fountain. They got soaked. Who needs rides, right. When we got there the parking lot was so full we had to park in a field. If you look close at the first picture of Jakob and Sara you will see cows in the background. I thought it was quite funny to be parking in a field with cows at Lagoon! The rest of the pictures pretty much explain themselves. It was a fun day, I can tell I'm getting old. I enjoyed watching my kids having fun, more then I enjoyed the rides.
