Birthday

My little girl is now 11.  Holy Cow!!!  We had a fun filled day celebrating the day of her birth.  Starting out with her choice of pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.

The opening of the presents.

And going to the zoo with cousins.  We had planned on going to the zoo with the cousins this summer and it just happened that the day that worked out for most of us was on her birthday.

The kids really enjoyed the new exhibit with the polar bear and grizzly bears.
The zoo also has a blind sea lion, seals, and sea otters.  As you can see I didn't get any picture of those.  But they were much enjoyed as well.

Ryan kept asking to see the gorilla all day and finally at the end we did.  He didn't disappoint.  You can see him in the back holding a white cup.  We're thinking they must have just given him something to eat in the cup.  When the food was gone he held the cup up close to his eyes to check it out, then he tried to bite it.  After doing this a couple of times he figured out that is was not food threw it over his shoulder and walked away.  It was quite comical.

I guess we really are related.

What would be a Niederhauser celebration without finishing the day off with dinner at the Pizza Factory.

A few days later we did some more celebrating at Grandma and Grandpa's with cake and ice cream!!!
