Reunion

A couple of weeks ago we went to Lake Walcott near Rupert, ID for our Niederhauser reunion. The camp grounds was so nice. We were right by the lake, there were bikes path's that went all over the place, and there were tons of bugs! Ok so the bugs weren't that great but at least they weren't mosquitoes and biting us the whole time.

We got up there just in time to set up camp, cook dinner and have it rain on us.

Thankfully the rain didn't last too long and so we rode our bikes over to the play ground to play.

On the way back to camp we saw these cool cotton ball clouds. I have never seen any clouds like those before.

The next day everyone wanted to drive over to see the new Twin Falls temple. Why is it that water always attracts the kids. We could not keep them out of the fountains no matter what we said.

After the temple we headed over to the Shoshone falls. So pretty!

The whole gang!

Lunch on a grassy knoll.

On the way home Steve and I took a detour and drove by my grandparents old house in Paul. I hadn't seen it in 20 years and it brought back so many fun memories. I got a little misty eyed remembering all the good times we had there. Of course they did not have all the clutter when they lived there.

Hangin' out at camp. We had yummy dutch oven dinner that night. Chicken, cheesy potatoes, salad, rolls, fruit and last but not least dutch oven cobbler. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

After dinner we played a little bingo and these are the prizes you could win. I however did not win. I was the very last one to get bingo and by then there was nothing left.
The next morning we had breakfast with everyone and had breakfast burritos. I don't know what it is about camping that makes food so good. I swear those were the best burritos I ever had.
Steve, Ryan and I went for one last bike ride around the camp ground after breakfast. As you can see we didn't get any more pictures of breakfast or the bike ride but I wanted to remember them. I am so glad we are able to do fun things like this with our families. I know it helps make our relationships just that much stronger. Steve has a wonderful family and I'm so grateful for them.

We were up in Rupert also for our family reunion! Crazy! But not for too long, we stayed a couple hours and then went to another part of Idaho. Sounds like you guys had a blast!
