Birthday's

Well another year has come and gone and I am another year older. I don't know how happy I am about that, 3 more years and I will be 40. That number does not look or sound like fun to me. That means I will be middle age and I don't want to be there. Mentally I still feel 20 and on good days 15!!!! =) Don't get me wrong I am happy where I am in my life. I really don't want to be younger, I just don't want to get older. I have a wonderful husband and children. We have so many blessings that I think it would take me forever to list them.

Yesterday was my actual birthday and I had to work. Not the most fun way to celebrate but not to bad either. I have a very good friend I work with and we always have fun talking the day away. So I was happy to spend a good part of my day with her. That morning while I was getting ready for work Steve woke up and made me pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, from scratch. They were so good. I could not believe how good they turned out. He brought them into me with candles burning. It was very sweet. Ryan woke up as I was getting ready, he came in and in his cute little 2 year old voice wished me Happy Birthday. I just doesn't get any better then that. Kids have a way of making almost anything fun. After work we went to eat at Olive Garden. I love that place. I don't think you can go wrong with anything they serve there. The kids were so cute and Ryan actually stayed in his high chair that whole time. That is a miracle in it's self! I didn't want the fun to end so we rented Monster House and watched that with the kids. It was a fun day and I'm grateful for my cute little family for making a day I wasn't really looking forward to a great one!

Oh Tam, happy happy birthday cute friend!! So glad you had a good one, and I for one was very glad you were at work. I don't know what I will do the day we quit working together. Love you lots and am so grateful for our friendship. Sounds like a perfect day spent, and you still look like you are in your twenties so don't you worry about getting older.
