Oh my goodness where does the time go. My little girl turned 8 today. I can not believe it, it was just yesterday that she was born. Now look at her.
I had my friend take her pictures in her dress I bought for her baptism. When we went to pick out the dress it was like getting a glimpse of the future and her trying on wedding dresses. Seriously I almost started crying in the dressing room. It will be here before I know it. I don't like how fast my children are growing.
I have a tradition of making my kids breakfast in bed on their birthdays. Can you tell we woke her up right as we were bringing in breakfast.
Then tonight we had a late night with 13 of her friends. They watched a movie and ate treats, opened presents, had cake and ice cream and danced. I think they all had fun, it was fun for me to watch and remember when I was their age.
Here they all are what a cute bunch of girls.
Gotta love the home made cake. Personally I do, I don't like the taste of store bought cakes even though they are prettier.

Hope all the "great to be 8" celebrations were wonderful. It was so fun to photograph her. She has a very special spirit about her - it almost made me tear up during the shoot!
Happy Birthday Sara! Congrats on your baptism too. You looked beautiful in your dress. And I love the way you did her hair, Tammy. I'll have to remember that if I have any girls.
